Friday, August 3rd, 2012ChildCry Snap: Uganda
Friday, July 20th, 2012In the Spring of 2012 ChildCry forged a partnership with a ministry called “The Forgiven Kids of Africa”; they oversee an orphanage of 100, located in Kampala Uganda. The final preparations have been completed and I’m happy to announce that since the beginning of July the children have been eating 3 meals per day, 7 days a week. Please pray for the administration as they gain experience and settle into this new ministry.

25 ChildCry Volunteers + 1 Completed Triathlon = Fresh 2 Minute Video
Friday, June 1st, 2012On May 19th a group of about 25 ChildCry volunteers set out on a little excursion to help out with the Harryman Triathlon. This was a fantastic event put on by Genesis Adventures and a wonderful way for ChildCry to reach out to the nearby community and spread some very important awareness to folks who’d never heard of us. It was our first event of this sort and we’ve already got some great ideas for the next race coming up in September that will help us communicate our message stronger, and clearer. Currently ChildCry is serving over 16,000 meals per week and with help from folks like you, we’ll continue feeding kids!!!
Here’s a two minute video recap of the day, forward a link to any friends/colleagues. But be warned, you may be inspired to spontaneously sign up for a triathlon, and those things are no joke!!!
