So, you’re sitting in the airport waiting for your connecting flight when suddenly you realize “What in the world are we going to say?” So turning to your team leader you venture the question, and doubt creeps in. Mark 6:37 says “…you give them something to eat.” But we don’t have anything, where do we get this? Everything is in pounds. We already have it, we have Christ. Moving down the page a little more in Mark 6:48 it says “Then he saw them straining and rowing…” And you suddenly re-remember, He already knows what’s going to happen. That doesn’t mean we won’t strain at the oars, burn the midnight oil, get tired after a transatlantic flight, or even have questions. But, He knows what he set before us. And more, He’ll come out to us to keep us going. Actually, He never left.
Mark 6:48 “Then He saw them straining at rowing, for the wind was against them. Now about the forth watch of the night He came out to them, walking on the sea…”

What a wonderful reminder that God is always in control and He meets our need where ever we are. The Lord always has a purpose and a plan for our lives..We used to sing a song many years ago which said, “you can’t see around the corner, but God can” how true this is. We can rest knowing and trusting in God’s Word, he will “never leave us or forsake us.”
